PLN re-launches tender for PLTU Tanjung Pinang

State utility company PT PLN for Riau and Riau Islands provinces re-launched the pre-qualification tender to build coal-fired power plant PLTU Tanjung Pinang with capacity of 2 x 15 megawatt. The project is to be developed based on build, own, operate and transfer (BOOT).
The scope of work will include design, financing, procurement, construction and test commissioning, operating and maintaining the project. PLTA Tanjung Pinang is located in Sei Enam Laut village, Sei Enam, Bintan Timur sub-district, Bintan Regency, Riau Islands province, PLN announced on Thursday.
The BOOT will last for 25 years.
The registration for pre-qualification process is rescheduled for January 6-20, 2012, instead of October 27 to November 9, 2011 set earlier. While, the deadline for submission of pre-qualification documents is reset to March 2, instead of December 8, 2011 set earlier.
