PLN: Re-PQ for procurement of consulting services

RE - PREQUALIFICATION ANNOUNCEMENT
For procurement of Consulting Services
For Operational Performance Improvement
For Power Generation

1. PT PLN (Persero) is planning to hire a qualified Consultant to perform services for a project entitled ?Operational Performance Improvement For Power Generation.? The cost of the consultant services will be borne by PLN through APLN (PLN?s own budget).

2. The project goal is to assist PLN in implementing its operational excellence program across Generation (as a main subject). Transmission and Distribution business unite.

3. PT PLN (Persero) invites consultants who will execute a major portion of consulting services to present pre-qualifying documentation as below:
a. Prominent management consulting firms with global presence.
b. 10+ years of international professional experience in a series of projects of similar nature and scale as in this consultancy project, highlighting the following:
- Specific past experience and qualifications in designing and planning for a comprehensive operational excellence program in Generation, Transmission and Distribution.
- Proven success in developing an operational excellence program those execution similar corporations into high-performing organizations in Indonesia s well as in other countries.
- Possese project team with extensive relevant project experience and proven qualifications.

4. Prequalification is open to firms in accordance with the PT PLN (Persero) Guidelines for Procurement (hereinafter referred to as Surat Keputusan Direksi No. 305.K/DIR/2010).

5. Eligable applicants may obtain the prequalification documents on June 7th - 9th June 2010 at 09.00- 15.00 WIB at the following address:

6. Committee reserve the right to reject late applications.

7. Applicants should pay special attention to the more detailed qualifications as described in the pre-qualification documents, Including PLN?s strict guidelines on conflict of interest and other countries.

8. Only qualified firms through this pre-qualification procedure will be invited to bid in the planned project.
