PLN: Re-PQ invitation for 2x25 MW Kendari power plant IPP project

PT PLN (Persero)(?PLN?) has conducted Pre qualification for Kendari Coal Fired Steam Power Plant (2x25 MW) (?Project?) which is failed due to lack of number of participants. Therefore, PLN intends to Re-Prequalify potential project sponsor (the ?Project Sponsor?) to develop the Project. The qualified Project Sponsor will develop, finance, construct and operate the Project with net capacity of 2x25 MW on a Build-Own-Operate-Transfer (BOOT) basis pursuant to a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) up to 25 (twenty five) years; and finance and construct the associated 150 kV transmission line, which will be transferred to PLN as a special facility.
This Re-Prequalification is open to interested party or parties, either domestic or foreign partnership with domestic, who have previous experience in implementing power generation projects and will be selected through a competitive bidding process from a pool of Applicants that meet the qualification criteria set forth in Pre-Qualification Document The Qualification Criteria will be based on three categories represent the Applicant?s ability to develop IPP projects, its power generation experience and its financial strength.
PLN invites interested parties to submit PQ?s applications in accordance with the criteria set forth in the Pre-Qualification Document. Only Applicants whose Qualification Statements demonstrate that they meet all of the criteria set forth in the Pre-Qualification Document will be invited to submit bids for the Project.
Pre-qualification Document may be collected from October 11, 2010 to October 15, 2010 at the following hours : 09.00 ? 15.00 West Indonesia Standard Time after payment of a non refundable fee in the amount of Rp 2.500.000,- (two million and five hundred thousand rupiahs) at the following address:
