PLN: Re-PQ invitation for 2x300MW Sumsel-6 power plant IPP project

INVITATION
NOTICE FOR THE RE-PRE-QUALIFICATION OF APPLICANTS
FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF
2X300 MW SUMSEL - 6 MINE MOUTH COAL FIRED STEAM POWER PLANT
INDEPENDENT POWER PRODUCER PROJECT

PT PLN (Persero) (?PLN?) has carried out solicitation process for Sumsel - 6 Mine Mouth Coal Fired Steam Power Plant IPP Project (?Project?) which was failed due to the minimum number of proposal submitted to proceed the tender was not met. Therefore, PLN intends to Re-Pre-Qualification potential project sponsor (the ?Project Sponsor?) to develop the Project in South Sumatera Province, Republic of Indonesia. The qualified Project Sponsor will develop, finance, construct and operate the Project with net capacity of 2x300 MW on a Build-Own-Operate-Transfer (BOOT) basis pursuant to a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) up to 25 (twenty five) years

This Re-Pre-qualification is open to interested party or parties, either domestic or foreign partnership with domestic, who have previous experience in implementing power generation projects and will be selected through a competitive bidding process from a pool of Applicants that meet the qualification criteria set forth in Re-Pre-Qualification Document. The Qualification Criteria will be based on three categories represent the Applicant?s ability to develop IPP projects, its power generation experience and its financial strength.

PLN invites interested parties to submit PQ?s applications in accordance with the criteria set forth in the Re-Pre-Qualification Document. Only Applicants whose Qualification Statements demonstrate that they meet all of the criteria set forth in the Re-Pre-Qualification Document will be invited to submit bids for the Project.

PLN also invites the prequalified bidders in the first prequalification. The re-pre qualification process is not applied to those prequalified bidders, provided that the consortium member composition is kept the same.

Re-Pre-qualification Document may be collected from April 27, 2011 to May 03, 2011 at the following hours: 09.00 - 15.00 West Indonesia Standard Time after payment of a non refundable fee in the amount of Rp 10.000.000,- (ten million rupiahs) at the following address:
