NOTICE FOR THE PRE-QUALIFICATION OF APPLICANTS
FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF
2x50 MW KENDARI-3 COAL FIRED STEAM POWER PLANT
INDEPENDENT POWER PRODUCER PROJECT
PT PLN (Persero) (PLN) intends to select a potential project sponsor (the ?Project Sponsor?) to develop Kendari-3 Coal Fired Steam Power Plant IPP Project in South East Sulawesi Province, Republic of Indonesia. The selected Project Sponsor will develop, finance, construct and operate the Project with net capacity of 2x50 MW on a Build-Own-Operate-Transfer (BOOT) basis pursuant to a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) up to 25 (twenty five) years; and also finance and construct the associated 150 kV transmission line, which will be transferred to PLN as a special facility.
This Re-Prequalification is open to interested party or parties, either domestic or foreign partnership with domestic, who has been entitled ratings at least 5A 2 by D&B (Dun & Bradstreet) and provide an Expression of Interest from the boiler/turbine/generator vendors with their experience supplying equipments at similar capacity.
PLN invites interested parties to submit PQ?s applications in accordance with the criteria set forth in the Re-Prequalification Document that will be based on three categories: (i) Business Criteria; (ii) Financial Criteria; and (iii) Technical Criteria. Only Applicants whose Qualification Statements demonstrate that they meet all of the criteria set forth in the Re-Prequalification Document will be invited to submit bids for the Project.
Re-Prequalification Document may be collected from 10 February 2014 to 21 February 2014 (on Business Day) at the following hours: 09.00-14.30 West Indonesia Standard Time after payment of a non refundable fee in the amount of Rp 5.000.000,- (five million rupiahs) at the following address:

Applicants shall submit to PLN, their application for the pre-qualification during normal business hours at or before 14.00 West Indonesia Standard Time on or before 17 March 2014.
