PLN re-tenders 900kt coal supply for Asam Asam

South Kalimantan unit of state electricity firm PLN announced on Thursday re-tender to supply 900,000 tonnes of low CV coal to its 2x65MW Asam Asam power plant after the previous tender failed to produce winner.
A company official told Petromindo.Com that only Banpu?s unit PT Jorong Barutama Greston submitted bid out of five companies that obtained bid documents.
Bid submission for the re-tender would be set up on October 26, 2009, the official said.
The winner will supply 25,000 tonnes of 4,200 kcal/kg (AR) coal per month to Asam-Asam for three years. (denny)
