State-owned electricity firm PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) has repeated the fuel supply tender for the Tanjung Batu power plant in Kutai Kartanegara, East Kalimantan, as the price offers in the first tender were beyond the limit set by the company.

?The tender has to be repeated,? Suryadi Mardjoeki, Head of Fuel and Gas Division at PLN, said as quoted by Investor Daily on Tuesday.

The repeated tender, for the supply of a total of 450,000 kilo liters of fuel for three years, was held on Monday, and the winning bidder is expected to be announced at the end of this month. The new contract will replace the existing supply contract held by PT AKR Corporindo which will expire in October of this year. (*)
