State-owned electricity company PT. Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) announced Friday a repeat of recent gas supply tender due to changes in the prequalification document.
PLN said bidders can get the revised documents on April 20-22 at its headquarters office in Jakarta. The participating bidders can be domestic or international firms from countries with diplomatic ties with Indonesia, but must have qualification in the areas of LNG supply, sea transport, LNG infrastructure (storage and regasification), or LPG/CNG infrastructure.
As has been reported last month, PLN was inviting companies to participate in a tender to supply between 100-230 mmscfd of gas for 32 power plants located in the central region of Indonesia whose construction are expected to be completed between 2016 and 2018.
The company earlier this month met for a consultation meeting with 91 firms interested to participate in the gas supply tender.
