PLN repeats power plant lease tender

State-owned electricity company PLN through subsidiary PT Pelayanan Listrik Nasional Tarakan unveiled a repeat of tender for the lease of a 6 MW gas engine power plant.

The company said in a tender announcement seen Friday that it was inviting contractors with at least one-year experience in procurement, operation and maintenance of gas fired or gas engine power plant. The company did not say why the tender has to be repeated.

Scope of work includes planning, procurement, installation, testing, operation, and maintenance of the 6 MW gas engine power plant, which must be ready for operation within 70 days after signing of the agreement.

Registration can be made with tender committee on March 7-10 at the Pelayanan Listrik Nasional Tarakan office on Jl Diponegoro No 1, Tarakan, North Kalimantan.
