PLN retenders PLTGB Selatpanjang in Riau

State utility company PT PLN is retendering gasified coal power plant (PLTGB) Selatpanjang with capacity of 6 megawatt (MW) located in Dabo Singkep, Riau.
?PT PLN for Riau and Riau Island provinces re-invites participants to take part in the pre-qualification bidding process,? PLN said in a statement.
The scope of the work includes design, procurement, construction and test commissioning.
PLN said pre-qualification documents are available on 9-14 November 2011. The last day for companies submitting pre-qualification documents is on 15 November 2011.
PLN tendered the project last year, however, it failed to attract enough bidders to take part in the tender process. Out of three participants submitting pre-qualification documents, only two passed the pre-qualification process.Therefore, it decided to stop the tender. (romel)
