PLN?s board of executives will be replaced next year

The supervisory board of the state owned electricity company PLN is nominating a number of the company?s senior executives to replace the current executive board which will end their term next year, Koran Tempo reported on Wednesday.

A source said that the supervisory board has proposed 16 names as the candidates to fill in the new posts. All of the candidates come form within the company including the president of PLN Batam Ali Herman, director of human resource development of PT Indonesia Power Herman Darnel Ibrahim, Finance Director of Indonesia Power Praktimia, General Manager of PLN?s distribution unit for East Java Fahmi and General Manager of PLN?s distribution unit for West Java Agus Pranoto.

The source said that the current board of executives President Director Eddie Widiono, Finance Director Parno Isworo and Operating Director Bambang Herminyanto have been also nominated to retain their jobs.

"Hopefully, the appointment of new executive board will be made early next year," he said. (*)
