PLN?s CNG marine transport tender set for September

State owned utility company PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) has carried out a market sounding to at least 33 companies for its planned tender for marine transportation of compressed natural gas (CNG) for its gas-fueled power plant in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara.

?The CNG marine transportation tender will be held next month. We have been in contact with 33 potential interested bidders, but only 9 of which fit the criteria,? Head of Oil and Gas Fuel Division M. Suryadi Marjoeki told petromindo.com.

Suryadi refused to name the nine companies, but simply added ?We expect the project to come on stream by 2014.?
