State-owned electricity company PLN has succeeded in synchronizing 10 MW of electricity supply from the Jakabaring gas-fired power plant into the Sumatra power network. Full-capacity is expected to be realized today.

The 50 MW Jakabaring plant receives 3.5 mmscfd of compressed natural gas (CNG) supplied via PT Pertagas.

?The news I received is that the Jakabaring CNG has run successfully without obstacle,? Suryadi Mardjoeki, Head of Fuel and Gas Division at PLN, told Petromindo.com, Monday.
