PLN?s marine CNG vessel to arrive in July

State electricity firm PT PLN (Persero) said on Friday that its world?s first marine compressed natural gas (CNG) vessel is currently undergoing sea trial in China and will be delivered to Indonesia in July this year.
Head of Oil and Gas Division Chairani Rachmatullah told Petromindo.com on Friday that the vessel will undergo certification process by ministry of transportation.
The Marine CNG Vessel will transport 20 million standard cubic feet (mmscf) of CNG from Gresik, East Java to Lombok in West Nusa Tenggara. The CNG will be used to fuel PLN?s 90 MW peaker power plant.
