PLN secures 53 cargoes of LNG supply this year

State-owned electricity firm PT PLN said it has secured LNG supplies amounting to 53 cargoes from several plants in Indonesia in this year.
?For 2015, PLN needs 53 cargoes of LNG which consists of 30 cargoes from FSRU West Java, 12 cargoes from the Receiving Terminal and Regassification Unit (RTRU) in Arun, and 11 cargoes from FSRU Lampung," PLN?s Fuel Oil Division Head Suryadi Mardjoeki told Petromindo.com.
FSRU West Java is operated by PT Nusantara Gas, RTRU Arun by PT Perta Arun Gas and FSRU Lampung by PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN)
He said, last year PLN was only able to absorb 30 cargoes of LNG, which are sourced from FSRU West Java (27 cargoes) and FSRU Lampung (3 cargoes).
