PLN set to soon sign six PPAs in Kalimantan

State-owned electricity firm PT PLN plans to sign at the end of this month power purchase agreement (PPA) for six mine mouth coal-fired power plant projects in Kalimantan.
This was said by PLN Business Director for Kalimantan Region, Joko Abumanan to Petromindo.com on Friday.
He said that the six power plant projects have a combined capacity of 2,200 MW, and are mostly targeted to start operation in 2019. He did not provide further details.
