Uncertainties surrounding the gas supply from Kepodang field, Muriah block, to Tambak Lorok power plant shift the attention of state utility firm PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) to look for the realization of gas supply from Cepu block.

Gas supply from Cepu is scheduled to flow to the power plant in 2016. PLN has high hopes for Cepu after Husky gas has been set to supply fertilizer producers, said Head of Oil and Gas Fuels Division at PLN Suryadi Mardjoeki.

"We expect now from Cepu as Husky gas will supply fertilizer firms," Suryadi told petromindo.com.

Suryadi said the power plant expects to receive 100 bbtud of gas supply.
