PLN shortlists HSD suppliers

State electricity firm PLN said on Monday that five companies have passed technical and administration screening to supply 1 million kiloliters of high speed diesel (HSD) for its power plants from 2008 to 2010, a company official said.
PLN?s HSD Tender Committee official Widayanto Epi told Petromindo.Com that the five companies are: AKR Corporindo, Patra Niaga, Shell and Kutilang JO, Elnusa Petrofin and Bumi Asri Prima Pratama.
The five bidders have submitted their proposals, he said, adding that the bidders were selected from 20 participants.
He said that the HSD would be distributed to the cities of Medan, North Sumatra (250,000 kiloliters per annum), Pontianak, West Kalimantan (100,000 klpa), Tanjung Batu-Samarinda, East Kalimantan (50,000 klpa) and Grati-Pasuruan, East Java (600,000 klpa)
He did not disclose when the winner(s) would be announced. (godang)
