PLN shuts down one power unit at Suralaya

State electricity firm PT PLN has shut down one power unit at the giant power plant complex in Suralaya, Banten.
Achmad Sadikikin, operational director of PT Indonesia Power, the power generating subsidiary of PLN, said on Monday the Sixth unit of the power plant, which has the power generation capacity of 600 MW, was shut down on Saturday on technical problems at its boiler.
The repair works were expected to last five days, he said. (Godang)
