PLN signs PPA with Jaya Dinamika

State owned electricity firm PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) announced on Monday it has signed Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) with PT Jay Dinamika Geohidroenergi (JDG) for two mini hydropower projects in Bogor, West Java.
The two mini hydropower (PLTMH) projects are PLTMH Cianten 1B (2x3.1 MW) and PLTMH Cianten 3 (2x2.9 MW). Both power plant projects are scheduled to come onstream in July 2015.
The PPAs were signed by PLN West Java Distribution?s General Manager Djoko R. Abumanan and JDG?s Director John Paulus Pantouw.
Under the 20-year PPA, PLN will buy power from both power plants at the prices of 1,075 per kwh in the first eight years and Rp 750 per kwh starting in the ninth year,
JDG is obliged to build interconnection line from the power plants to PLN?s power grid.
