PLN tenders another spot coal supply for Labuan power plant

State electricity firm PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) on Saturday announced a spot tender to supply coal to its 2x300 MW Labuan power plant in Banten.

PLN invited coal contract of work (CCoW) or PKP2B, KP/IUP holders to participate in the spot tender. It requires the coal companies have not current contract with Labuan power plant.

Bidders should also have a track record to supply coal to PLN or PLN?s subsidiaries.

Bidders should offer in cost, insurance and freight (CIF) terms

PLN said that the coal should have a CV of between 4,250 kcal/kg to 4,700 kcal/kg (GAR), a total moisture (TM) of ≤ 35%, Ash ≤ 6% (Ar), sulphuric content of ≤ 0.35 % (Ar)

Bid documents can be obtained at PLN (Persero)'s head office at Jl. Trunojoyo Blok M 1/135, Kebayoran Baru, Jakarta 12160 from July 23 through 26 with bid submission scheduled on July 26, 2010. (kanti)
