PLN tenders EPC, O&M for Muko-Muko coal-fired power plant

State electricity firm PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) announced Thursday the pre-qualification (PQ) of engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning (EPCC) and operation & maintenance (O&M) tender to build 2 x 4MW coal-fired power plant in Muko-Muko regency, Bengkulu province.

The power plant is desgined to operate for at least 15 years

Bidders, either companies or consortiums, should have experience in handling EPC and O&M contracts and have secured long-term coal supply contracts.

They must also be financially capable of developing the power plant.

Bidders should register themselves from Oct. 29 through Nov. 1, 2010 during working hours and pre-qualification documents can also be picked up during the period at the following address: Panitia Pengadaan Pembelian Tenaga Listrik PLTU 2 x 4 MW di Kabupaten Muko-Muko. PT PLN (Persero) Wilayah Sumatra Selatan, Jambi and Bengkulu. Jl. Kapten A. Rivai No. 37, Palembang, 30129, South Sumatra.
