PLN to announce winner of Lahendong contract

State electricity company PT PLN will announce the winner of the bidding for the contract to build the 20 MW geothermal power plant in Lahendong, North Sulawesi early March.
According to PLN?s director of generation and primary energy Ali Herman Ibrahim, five companies are bidding for the contract, including Japanese firms Sumitomo and Mitsubishi.
PLN expected to finish technical evaluations on the bidders this month. This will be followed by a price evaluation.
?The winner will be announced in early March,? he said. (Godang)
