PLN to build gas-fired power plant in Thousand Islands

State-owned electricity company PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) plans to build a gas-fired power plant with a capacity of 20-30 MW in Kepulauan Seribu, DKI Jakarta, to support the Jakarta administration?s plan to develop a resort.
This was said by PLN President Director Sofyan Basir on Friday.
He said that construction of the power plant is expected to be completed in the middle of next year. Total investment requirement for the project is estimated at Rp 300 billion.
