PLN to build marine diesel power plant

State-owned electricity company PT Perusahaaan Listrik Negara (PLN) will build a 60 MW marine diesel power plant to help increase power supply in the Maluku and North Maluku provinces.
Ikhsan Asaad, General Manager of PLN Maluku region, was quoted as saying that the power plant will start operation in 2016.
He added that the power plant will be mounted on top a vessel to be anchore in Ambon. PLN will hold tender for the supply of the vessel. (*)
