The paper quoted Head of Gas and Fuel Division at PLN, Suryadi Mardjoeki as saying that the LNG would be delivered via PT Nusantara Regas, which operates floating storage and regasification units.
He said that PLN?s LNG requirement from PT Nusantara Regas in 2014 totals 27 cargoes, but only 22 cargoes have been allocated so far from the Badak plant.
?The plan is that there will be five additional cargoes to come from Bontang and Tangguh, respectively two cargoes and three cargoes,? Suryadi said.
The upstream oil and gas authority SKK Migas has said that is was looking to market LNG cargoes from the Badak plant which has not been absorbed by the domestic buyers. Of the total 23 unabsorbed cargoes, 18 have obtained buyers including British Petroleum Trading, leaving 5 cargoes, about 0.3 metric tons, left without committed buyer. (*)
