PLN to complete FS of Matenggeng hydro power plant project this year

State-owned electricity firm PT PLN said that it hopes to complete the current feasibility study (FS) for the planned Matenggeng hydropower plant project in Cijolang, Ciamis Regency, West Java Province, this year
Nasri Sebayang, PLN's Director for West Java Region told Petromindo.com on Thursday the company plans to hold tender next year to select developer of the planned project.
The power plant project will have total capacity of 4x225 MW. Total investment is estimated at around US$1 billion and will be financed by the World Bank, he said.
