PLN to complete repair of Cilegon power plant transformer in August

State-owned electricity firm PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) said it expected the ongoing repair work of transformer unit of the PLTGU Cilegon power plant to be completed in August of this year.
PLN Head of Gas and Fuel Division, Suryadi Mardjoeki told Petromindo.com on Tuesday that since October 2012, the gas-fired power plant could not maximally absorb gas supply due to damage in the transformer unit.
?The plan was for the Cilogon plant to absorb 80 mmscfd of gas from CNNOC and 30 mmscfd from PGN. But only about 35 mmscfd has been absorbed,? Suryadi said.
