PLN to develop 150 kV transmission in Jatigede

State-owned electricity firm, PT PLN will develop a 150 kV transmission line at Jatigede hydropower plant project in Sumedang Regency, West Java Province.

Anang Yahmadi, PLN's General Manager of Development Unit for West Java told Petromindo.com on the sidelines of a media visit at Jatigede project on Thursday that the transmission line will have about eight kilometers length.

"It will be integrated with Sunyaragi-Rancaekek 150 kV transmission line," he said, adding that the total investment for this project is estimated around Rp 5 billion per kilometer.

Anang added that the project is expected to complete by May 2019 in line with the completion date of the 2x55 MW Jatigede hydropower plant project.
