The state-owned power company PLN will develop a long-term power-selling contract for various industries, company marketing director Eddie Widiono said Thursday.
Eddie said with a longer term contract customers could enjoy a fix power price with a guaranteed power supply and quality during a certain period.
He said that PLN would soon socialize its new marketing strategy.
"I think this kind of contract will create value added to certain industries particularly export-oriented industries," Eddie said.
Eddie was speaking to the press on the sidelines of a signing ceremony of the 80 mega volt ampere power-selling contract with cement market PT Indocement.(*)
