PLN to develop three geothermal power plants

State-owned power company PLN will develop three geothermal power plants under the government's second stage 10,000 MW power projects.

Sugiharto Harsoprayitno, a senior government official, said the three geothermal power plants to be developed by PLN included the 2x15 MW Tolehu plant in Ambon, 2x15 MW plant in Lombok (West Nusa Tenggara), and the 2.5 MW Mataloko plant in Flores (East Nusa Tenggara).

"It has been decided that thet three power plants will be developed by PLN," he said. (bernard)
