PLN to get 4 mmscfd of gas from Sembakung field

State-owned electricity firm PT. Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) is set to receive up to 4 mmscfd of gas from the Sembakung field, in Simenggaris block, in East Kalimantan, later this month to fire up its 8 MW power plant in Nunukan.
PLN Head of Fuel and Gas Division Suryadi Mardjoeki said that in the initial stage, the gas flow volume from the block, operated by TAC PT Pertamina EP- PT Medco Sembakung, would be 2 mmscfd, and to double to 4 mmscfd on October 28.
?In the very near future, gas will enter Nunukanm,? he told Petromindo.com Monday.
