PLN to hold tender for Java-Sumatra interconnection soon

State owned electricity firm PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) will soon hold tender for the construction of power interconnection line from Java to Sumatra.
?The EPC tender will be announced soon and the interconnection line is expected to start operation in 2011 with a capacity of 200 MW,? PLN?s Director of Planning and Technology Bambang Praptono said on Tuesday.
He said the project will be financed using export credit, but he did not provide details. (Godang)
