PLN to issue bonds in July

State-electricity company PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) plans to issue conventional bonds worth Rp 2.5 trillion and Islamic Sukuk bonds worth Rp 500 billion next month.
The company said in a press statement Monday that this is part of the planned Rp 10 trillion worth of conventional bonds to be issued this year, and Rp 2 trillion worth of Sukuk bonds.
Proceeds from the bonds issuance will be used to finance the construction of electricity facilities including transmission and distribution networks in Sumatra, Java, Bali , Sulawesi, Maluku, and Papua.
