PLN to issue bonds next week

State-owned electricity company PT PLN is scheduled to issue bond in rupiah which is valued at Rp 3 trillion next week, the company?s president director Dahlan Iskan said.
?We?ve appointed three underwriters for the issuance of our bonds. And we?ll do public expose on Monday or Tuesday next week,? he told detikfinance at PLN Jakarta headquarters on Friday.
He further said that the three underwriters were PT Danareksa Sekuritas, PT Mandiri Sekuritas, and PT Trimegah Securities. The bond will be issued in conventional and Islamic bonds and both will use the company?s 2009 financial report.
According to him, most of the funds derived from the bond issuance would be used to finance the development of transmission and distribution of electricity under the first crash program of 10,000 Megawatt. (*)
