PLN to launch EPC tender for Papua hydro power plants mid-12

State electricity firm PT PLN (Persero) will launch EPC tender for two hydropower power plant in Papua with total capacity of 100 MW, a company official said on Thursday.
Renewable Energy Division Head Moch. Sofyan told Petromindo.Com on Thursday that design evaluation for Baliem and Wamena power plants, each with capacity of 50 MW is currently underway.
The power plants will be owned and operated by PLN, he said.
He did not give detail about PLN?s investment for the planned projects. (bernard)
