PLN to receive additional gas supply, to cut fuel consumption

State electricity firm PLN said on Tuesday its power plants in Sumatra, Java and Kalimantan will receive additional gas supply of 285.5 MMCFD in 2009.
PLN?s Head of Primary Energy Nasri Sebayang said that gas supply would help PLN to cut fuel consumption from 11.4 million kiloliters in 2008 to 7.9 million kls in 2009.
Sebayang said of the 7.9 kls, 70 percent would consist of HSD and the rest MFO. (bernard)
