PLN to sign power purchase agreements with IPP

State electricity firm PT PLN will sign nine power purchase agreements (PPA) with independent power producers (IPP) later this month or next month, according to a company official.

“Most of the projects would be handled by local investors and most of the equipment, such as turbine and generators would come from China,” said Nasri Sebayang, PLN’s Deputy Director of IPP Management in Jakarta on Sunday. (godang)
