PLN: Transmission tender for PLTA Upper Cisokan to be held next year

State-owned electricity company PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero) (PLN) targets to run an auction of transmission line project for PLTA Upper Cisokan pumped storage power plant project in West Java in 2017.

Nasri Sebayang, PLN?s Director of Western Part of Java told Petromindo.com recently that the transmission line is part of the Package 3 works of 4x260 MW Cisokan project.

?The transmission line is expected to be ready for us in 2019. That is why we are targeting to run the auction for the transmission line project next year,? he said.

Nasri added civil work activities are now in progress at the project, both the Package 1 works of the project, which covers the development of dam; and Package 2 which covers the development of central power house and access roads.
