PLN unveils tender for lease of gas engine power plant

State-owned electricity company PT. PLN through its subsidiary PT Pelayaran Listrik Nasional Tarakan invited national contractors to participate in a tender for the lease of a 6 MW gas engine power plant (PLTMG) in Tarakan, East Kalimantan.
The company said in a tender announcement issued on Thursday the scope of works includes planning, supply, installation, testing, operation and maintenance of the 6 MW power plant.
It added that the engine must be ready for operation within 70 days after the signing of the agreement. Eligible bidders must have the necessary experience and fulfill the administrative requirements.
Registration can be made at the PLN Tarakan office in East Kalimantan on August 26-27.
