PLN upgrades Jambi relay station

State-owned electricity company PT. PLN upgraded the Muara Bungo relay station in Jambi Province, expanding the capacity to 120 MVA, which the company said will increase power supply reliability in the province, Kontan.co.id reported on Wednesday.
The portal said that the upgrade was made by replacing a 30 MVA-capacity transformer with a new 60 MVA mobile transformer.
It quoted PLN Public Relations Manager Agung Murfidi as saying that the upgrade of the relay station will increase power supply reliability particularly in Muara Bunga and Muara Tebo regencies. (*)
