A fire incident that happened earlier today (Thursday) at a jetty that serves coal-fired power plant PLTU Jeneponto in South Sulawesi has caused damage on some facilities there.

I Made Suprateka, spokesman of PT. PLN however dismissed news report that said the fire occurred at the power plant and the power plant has stopped operation.

?The plant still operates as normal. It was unaffected by the fire incident, ?Made said.

Made explained that the upper part of two conveyors at the expansion project of the jetty got burned due to the fire, he said.
