PLTU Nagan Raya set for operation in April

The construction of 2x110 MW PLTU Nagan Raya coal-fired power plant in Meulaboh, Aceh, has now reached 92 percent of completion, with Unit 1 scheduled for operation by April 2013.
Four months later, Unit 2 will also come on stream, a statement said. The power plant will generate electricity for various areas in Aceh through a 173km long 275 kV transmission network.
The progress was unveiled last Friday during a site visit by Jarman, Director General of Electricity at the Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry.
