PLTU Pulang Pisau carries out local unloading

PT Pembangkit Jawa-Bali UBJ O&M, a subsidiary of state owned electricity firm PT Perusahaan Listirk Negara (PLN) said PLTU Pulang Pisang coal-fired power plant in Central Kalimamtan carried out Coal Unloading process for the first time on Oct.9, 2015.

The firm is the operator of the 2x60 MW power plant.

Coal unloading is a process in which coal is unloaded off barges on coal yard. The coal unloading process is important to support Steam Blow and First Firing which will be carried out on Oct. 25, 2015.

The coal unloading was successfully carried out, the firm said, adding that the power plant is scheduled to achieve Commercial Operation Date (COD) on Nov. 30, 2015.
