PLTU Pulau Pisau to start commercial operation in June

PT Pembangkitan Jawa Bali, a subsidiary of state-owned electricity firm PT PLN, stated that PLTU Pulau Pisau coal fired power plant with a capacity of 2x60 MW in Buntoi Village, Kahayan Hilir District, Pulang Pisau Regency,Central Kalimantan Province, is expected to achieve commercial operation date (COD) in June 2016 for unit 1.

Company internal magazine Info PJB says that the construction of unit 1 of the power plant has reached 99 percent of progress and has been entered the commissioning phase and reliability running test.

In addition, construction progress of unit 2 has reached 95 percent and is expected to start commercial operation in August 2016.
