PO&G in talks to buy interest in S. Sumatra block

Oil company PT Pacific Oil & Gas Indonesia (PO&G) said Monday it was seeking to purchase interest in a producing block in South Sumatra.
?The operator plans to farm out their interest in the block and we are in serious talks with them,? PO&G business development director Amir Faisal said, who declined to name the block.
Separately, the company?s general manager of upstream exploration Supriadi Arif said PO&G together with operator Chevron had scheduled to drill one exploration well in Kisaran block, North Sumatra, in the near future. (godang)
