The head of the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) police Jonny Yodjana denied the charge that the police had halted the investigation related to the bomb blast which hit the office of PT Newmont Nusa Tenggara in Mataram last month.

"The charge is baseless, it is totally wrong," he said, adding that the investigation continued up to now. But he acknowledged that it would take time to settle the case.

The police has suspected the involvement of Newmont workers in the bomb blast but no arrest has been made so far.

A bomb blast hit the fence of the representative office of copper and gold mining operator in Mataram, last month. No injuries were reported in the incident. (*)
