Police investigating Kideco over illegal land use

East Kalimantan police is investigating East Kalimantan coal mining firm PT Kideco Jaya Agung (KJA) over allegation of illegal use a plot of land that is thought to be located in protected forest.
According to Koran Tempo daily, the 10-hectare plot was used as disposal containment area.
According to Koran Tempo, KJA President Kim Dal Soo has been declared suspect since January 2010.
Kideco is a unit of IDX-listed mining and contractor firm PT Indika Energy Tbk.(*)
