From the shipping documents, it was found that refined tin -- the total estimated weight of the tin is 500 tons - was destined to Singapore. The joint team received the information from the investigation about Koba Tin's activities.
The provincial police chief Sr. Commissioner Imam Sudjarwo said the containers will become evidence against Koba Tin. Police suspects that company might have violated the existing regulations by conducting its mining operations outside its contract areas and accepting illegal tin sand.
?For the time being, we have questioned nine employees of Koba Tin,? Imam said.
Those subject to investigation will also include Koba Tin's high rangking officials and the company's partners, Imam said. (*)
