Ministry of Transportation and state port operator PT Pelindo II has announced plan to build a 10 milion TEU per annum container hub port at Karawang with operations to start in five years. Karawang?s Cilamaya was picked as best location our of the five locations surveyed by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to its strategic location and proximity to industrial centers.
